metro-trip

Last month, the Greenleaf Center was fortunate to facilitate a dialogue with leaders of MetroPower, a prominent southeast regional electrical and mechanical contracting company. Our conversation touched on a number of key servant leader practices known for supporting more cohesive teams that often result in greater organizational productivity and community impact. This highly interactive workshop enabled managers and directors to explore the realities of showing up every day as compassionate leaders who prioritize the needs of employees and customers. Special thanks to President and COO, Alberto Peluzzo, and Vice President, Todd Stevens, and all who participated in the session. MetroPower is in good hands.

The Greenleaf team was fortunate to spend the day on the beautiful LaGrange College campus visiting with the College’s premier leadership program, The Wilkinson Family Servant Scholars. Staff engaged the Scholars and community stakeholders on the efficacy of incorporating servant leadership principles and practices in the workplace and beyond. Thank you Professor Jeff Lukken and the LaGrange, Georgia community!

On January 29, 2025 the Greenleaf Center hosted a timely conversation with panelists and students from around the country to engage in a discussion examining factors influencing limited voter participation and lack of involvement in local civic affairs. Participants explored viable ways to foster deeper civic engagement within local communities and across all levels of government. This event was a collaboration of the Greenleaf Center, the Seton Hall University Core, Siena College (New York), and LaGrange College (Georgia).
