Alfa Demmellash is co-founder & CEO of Rising Tide Capital (RTC). Born and raised in Ethiopia, she attended Harvard University with a focus on poverty alleviation and peace building. She co-founded RTC in 2004 to catalyze holistic resources in support of overlooked entrepreneurs from underserved communities. RTC has worked with nearly 10,000 entrepreneurs both in its founding state of New Jersey and is nationally in 15 other states through licensed partnerships. A Heinz Award Winner and recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, Alfa is currently catalyzing Future Tide Partners to co-imagine the Beloved Economy.
