Dr. Caleb Lugar earned his Ph.D from the University of Mississippi in the School of Business Administration. Dr. Lugar’s research is focused on the concept of Servant Leadership within the domain of self-initiated expatriation. The term “self-initiated expatriate” refers to foreign nationals who willingly self-initiate an international change in their dominant place of residence for the purpose of work. Dr. Lugar will draw upon the conservation of resource theory and research on organizational identification in order to theorize and empirically examine the influence of servant leadership on the turnover intentions of self-initiated expatriates.
