Karryna is a doctoral candidate and leadership educator in the Department of Management at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Her research revolves around Greenleaf’s notion that the followers of a servant-leader are more likely to become servants themselves. In doing so, Karryna hopes to provide theoretical clarity to understand how servant-leaders influence their followers. This study determines whether servant-leaders influence their followers to emulate or reciprocate their behaviors by examining the theories of social learning and social exchange.
